The Deep Workbook

A deep-work planner that helps you focus on the work that actually moves the needle, so you can gain skills and create value early.

It’s the companion tool to Unstuck in Your 20s, built to turn the habits from Chapter 6, “Live to the fullest”, into daily practice.

“At 23, I struggled a lot with being busy yet not creating anything valuable nor acquiring any impressive skills.”
Olive, in her letter at the front of the workbook

How it works

  1. Goal Setup

Clarify one goal, set success metrics for up to four priority objectives, plan around obstacles with “if… then…” lines, and name the person you’re becoming.

  2. Deep Work Session

Pick today’s priority, set your boundaries, mark up to two focus sessions on a 24-hour timeline, then review what you got done, what distracted you, how hard focus felt and your energy. A streak tracker keeps count.

  3. Biweekly Review

Every two weeks, check each objective and your progress towards the goal, then look at the habit itself: average deep-work time, distractions, focus boosters and your longest streak.

  • Systems trump goals

A system keeps you moving on low-energy days, when motivation fades.

  • Deep work beats shallow hustle

A few hours of focused, distraction-free work outperform long stretches of fragmented effort.

  • Identity change is more sustainable

You don’t “try” to write a book; you become a writer every time you sit down to write.
